Workplace Mediation
Disagreements in the workplace are very common and can occur at all levels: be it within a team, or between employees and management. If left unchecked, even minor misunderstandings can often escalate beyond control, creating stress and affecting productivity, which directly impacts all team members and the organisation as a whole.
mediation services can be used to resolve a number of issues, including:
- Breakdown in working relationships;
- Personality clashes
- Communication problems
- Discrimination, bullying and harassmen
Peacemakers offers mediation support to members of the same faith community who are in conflict with each other. Whether you are a member of a temple, mosque, synagogue, or church, our experienced mediators can help you "disagree well" with each other.
Christian mediation can be used to resolve many issues including:
- Disagreements about the structure of worship services or events;
- Disputes over the use of religious premises, equipment or funds;
- Personality clashes between believers;

– Workplace mediation between school staff;
– Conflict management training for pupils and staff, including our tailored peer mediation programme.

Neighbour dispute mediation has proven to help deal with a range of disputes over:
- Noise nuisance complaints
- Boundaries and hedges
- Parking
- Harassment
- Anti-social behaviour
- Use of shared spaces
- Pets
- Issues affecting groups of tenants.

Co-parenting mediation
Co-parenting mediation is an effective way of sorting out child arrangements between separated parents without involving the court or solicitors. Two trained mediators will help you and your ex-partner agree on where the children should live, how they share time between you, what type of contact takes place and when
7 reasons to use co-parenting mediation:
1. It's quicker and cheaper than court proceedings.
2. It puts you in control. It is you and your ex-partner who will make all decisions, not a judge or the mediator.
3. It puts the child(ren) first, encouraging you to co-parent well together, even when you are living separately or have new families.
4. The mediators are neutral: All our mediators are trained to work with people whose relationship has broken down. They will act impartially to avoid conflicts of interest.
5. It's confidential. No information will be passed on to anyone unless you agree to it.
6. A safe environment for communication. At the beginning of the meeting ground rules will be agreed, ensuring that you can speak freely and be listened to respectfully.
7. Long-lasting agreements. Although agreements made in mediation are not legally binding, in our experience, arrangements made voluntarily are more likely to last than court orders, as they reflect the needs of parents and their children. Mediation can also help restore communication and rebuild trust.
